Purpose: This paper aims to study the visibility of Iranian scientific associations' websites in the humanities.
Methodology: A list of 62 Iranian scientific associations in humanities obtained from the website of Iran Scientific Associations Commission. The analysis of active websites is done using webometrics methods through Alexa, Urloz and Yahoo! Directory during April 27th to May 17th 2012.
Results: The results show that Social Psychology Association Website stands on top having 918 in-links. On the other hand, Iranian Curriculum Studies Association, Association of Family Studies in Iran and Iranian Society of Persian Language and Literature are considered to have the weakest websites with the least in-links and the lowest Google PageRank. The Iranian Executive Management Association shown to have the highest Revised Web Impact Factor by 15.
Conclusion: The findings of this research would help the website admins to make their websites more visible through getting more in-links from related websites and consequently improve the scientific communication.
