Digital Preservation and Archiving Policy

The Librarianship and Information Organization Studies is committed to the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of all scholarly content published by the journal.

The journal maintains an electronic archive of its published content, including all published issues and articles. The archived content is intended to ensure the continued availability and accessibility of the journal’s scholarly record.

The journal maintains backup copies of its electronic content to protect against data loss and to support the continuity and security of access to published materials. Backup copies are maintained in a separate internal virtual server environment (FLSVR) within the National Library and Archives of Iran. This internal storage provides an additional preservation and backup layer separate from the journal’s public website.

The journal periodically maintains and updates backup copies of its published content. The original version of a published article remains part of the journal’s scholarly record. Where a correction or other post-publication change is necessary, the journal follows its applicable correction and post-publication policies while preserving the integrity of the original publication record.

The journal is committed to maintaining the accessibility and integrity of its digital archive and to taking reasonable measures to protect published content against accidental loss, technical failure, or other risks affecting the availability of the journal’s online content.

This digital preservation policy applies to the scholarly content published by the journal and is reviewed periodically to ensure its continued effectiveness.
