The world of information and communications has always faced unexpected changes. Web 2.0 opened a new window to libraries for cooperation and interaction with users. Library 2.0 which definitely involves elements taken from Web 2.0 emerged as a new approach for using communication and information technologies and social softwares in library affairs and moving towards libraries without walls. It created the basis for Cataloguing 2.0 in association with new applications. Cataloguing 2.0 considers the user as a counselor and an assistant in all library affairs. This research discusses library software as a tool for cataloguing, then examines the influence of World 2.0 on cataloguing and gives a brief introduction of a software called "innovative" as a symbol of Cataloguing 2.0. This user-centered software provides the possibility for changing its structure and facilitates user-library interaction.
