Abstract
Purpose: Data collected for research on social networks, similar to other research, is analyzed according to various methods and models, including measures of centrality and network density. Design/Methodology/Approach: Analysis of literature. Findings: Information scientists review publications, citation and co-citation networks, structure of scientific collaboration, co-authorship networks, review of knowledge flow, and other forms of social interactions. Conclusion: Using measure of density and centrality is a required for investigating such networks.
