بررسی و مقایسة قواعد فهرستنویسی توصیفی آنگلوآمریکن و الگوی ملزومات کارکردی پیشینه‌های کتابشناختی

چکیده

پژوهش حاضر بر آن است تا به بررسی و مقایسة قابلیت‌های قواعد فهرستنویسی آنگلوآمریکن و الگوی ملزومات کارکردی پیشینه‌های کتابشناختی (اف.آر.بی.آر.) در تأمین اهداف و کارکردهای مورد نظر از فهرست کتابخانه پرداخته و نقاط قوت و ضعف هریک را مشخص کند. در این پژوهش، که به روش پیمایش مقایسه‌ای انجام شده است، بررسی دو الگو توسط سیاهه‌ وارسی طراحی شده از سوی محققان انجام شده است. بدین ترتیب که با استفاده از متون و مدارک موجود و جست‌وجو در پایگاه‌های فهرستگان ملی آمریکا و فهرست جهانی، که به‌عنوان نمونه برگزیده شدند، به پاسخگویی سیاهة ارزیابی پرداخته شده است. همچنین تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌های به‌دست آمده از سیاهه‌ وارسی پژوهش، به‌صورت تحلیلی و مقایسه‌ای انجام شده است. نتایج پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که الگوی ملزومات کارکردی پیشینه‌های کتابشناختی در زمینة اهداف و کارکردهای فهرست، مبنای توصیف آثار در پیشینه‌های کتابشناختی، ساختار پیشینه‌های کتابشناختی، تعیین کارکردهای عناصر داده‌ای موجود در پیشینه‌های کتابشناختی، و سطح و نحوة توصیف مدارک در پیشینه‌های کتابشناختی کامل تر از قواعد فهرستنویسی آنگلوآمریکن عمل کرده و به نحو مؤثرتری قادر به پاسخگویی به نیازهای اطلاعاتی کاربران فهرست کتابخانه‌ای است. از جمله معایب الگوی ملزومات کارکردی پیشینه‌های کتابشناختی نسبت به قواعد فهرستنویسی انگلوآمریکن می‌توان به مقبولیت جهانی پایین‌تر، عدم آموزش کتابداران و فهرستنویسان، عدم آشنایی کاربران فهرست‌ها با این الگو، نیازهای نرم‌افزاری خاص، و هزینه‌های فهرستنویسی اشاره کرد.

چکیده [English]

The present research aimed to study and compare the capabilities of the Anglo-American CatalogingRules (AACR) and the Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records (FRBR) model for fulfililng the aims and functions required by library catalogues and to determine the pros and cons of each model. In this research, which was carried out as a comparative survey, the two models are assessed through checklists developed by the researchers. The checklists were filled in using existing texts and documents and searching in the United States’ National Union Catalogue and WorldCat which were chosen as examples. Furthermore, the data obtained from the research checklist was analytically and comparatively analyzed. Research findings show that in terms of aims and functions of catalogues, the basis for description in bibliographic records, the structure of bibliographic records, the determination of functions of existing data elements in bibliographic records and the level and method of describing documents in bibliographic records, the Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records model is more complete than AACR and is able to meet the information needs of library catalogue users more effectively. Among the deficiencies of the Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records model in comparison with AACR the following may be mentioned: less international popularity, lack of instructing librarians and cataloguers, lack of familiarity of catalogue users with this model, special.software requirements and cataloguing costsZAHIR
