The Role of Storing, Disseminating and Applying Knowledge in Improving the Status of Staff Training in the University

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research was to investigate the role of knowledge storage, dissemination and application in improving the education status of employees of Islamic Azad University, Bandar Abbas branch.
Method: The current research was an applied research. The research method was analytical-survey type. The society in this research was all managers and employees of Bandar Abbas Islamic Azad University included 15 managers and 272 employees. The samples also included 15 managers and 200 employees from the community using the Cochran formula. The sampling method was random and stratified in both groups of managers and employees. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data. In this research, descriptive and inferential methods were used to analyze the data obtained from the questionnaires. At the descriptive level, using characteristics such as abundance was dealt with the analysis of the characteristics of the society. At the inferential level, inferential techniques of Kolmogorov-Smirnov's normal test were used to examine the hypotheses, binomial test.
Findings: Knowledge management is effective in improving and improving the educational status of managers and staff of Islamic Azad University of Bandar Abbas. Also, Knowledge storage is effective in improving education and improving the educational status of managers and staff of Bandar Abbas Islamic Azad University. The dissemination of knowledge in the field of creation is effective with the promotion and improvement of the educational status of managers and staff of the Islamic Azad University of Bandar Abbas. The application of knowledge in the field of creation is effective with the promotion and improvement of educational status of managers and staff of Islamic Azad University of Bandar Abbas.
Conclusion: The results showed that storing and disseminating knowledge plays an important role in increasing the educational efficiency of academic staff and administrators. In addition, attention to factors such as: strengthening organizational culture, interaction among colleagues, attention to infrastructure and information technology plays an important role in the application of knowledge in the university. Holding training courses, creating a knowledgebase, setting up a knowledge management measurement system, creating a system of suggestions to improve organizational activity, short-term, medium-term and long-term planning for the professional development of employees are among the suggestions of this research.
