واکاوی عوامل مؤثر بر انتخاب تصاویر بازیابی‌شده در موتور کاوش گوگل از دیدگاه کاربران

چکیده

هدف: واکاوی دلایل انتخاب تصاویر بازیابی‌شده از موتور کاوش گوگل از دیدگاه کاربران و بررسی تأثیر متغیرهای جمعیت‌شناختی بر قضاوت ربط تصاویر بازیابی‌شده.
روش‌شناسی: این پیمایش با 30 نفر آزمودنی (دانشجوی دوره‌های تحصیلات تکمیلی از رشته‌های مختلف دانشکده فنی- مهندسی دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد) انجام شد. داده‌ها از طریق پرسشنامه‌ای که علل انتخاب تصاویر توسط کاربران را در فرایند قضاوت عینی بررسی می‌کرد گردآوری شد. معیارهای قضاوت عینی برپایه تحلیل متون تخصصی استخراج شد و روایی آن از سوی چند تن از متخصصان تأیید شد.
یافته‌ها: رابطه معناداری بین ویژگی‌های فردی (تجربه و مهارت، مقطع تحصیلی، سن، و جنسیت) و دیدگاه کاربران از نظر اهمیت نسبی معیارهای عینی ربط وجود نداشت. در مرحله قضاوت عینی از میان دلایل نه‌گانه آزمودنی‌ها برای انتخاب تصویر، "برداشت کلی کاربر در مورد احتمال سودمند بودن تصویر" با 100% توافق، مهم‌ترین دلیل و از میان علل یازده‌گانه انتخاب نکردن تصویر، "عدم اطمینان کاربر نسبت به آن و منوط ‌کردن انتخاب به تصویر بعدی" با 33/33% توافق، بیشترین آراء را به‌خود اختصاص داد.
نتیجه‌گیری: افراد عمدتاً برمبنای برداشت کلی، تجربه ذهنی، و دانش خود تصاویر را انتخاب می‌کنند قضاوت ربط تصویر توسط کاربران به میزان آشنایی آنها با اجزا و عناصر وب مربوط نمی‌شود.

Purpose: To analyze the reasons for which users select retrieved images from Google search engine and investigate the relationship between users’ demographic variables and criteria for relevance judgment.
Methodology: Thirty (30) graduate students in school of Engineering of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad were surveyed. Data gathered using a questionnaire asking about the reasons for selecting images and users’ relevance judgment. Objective criteria were obtained from related literature and validated by a number of experts.
Results: There was no significant correlation between individual characteristics (experience and skill, educational level, age and gender) and users’ views toward the objective relevance criteria. The “user’s overall impression that an image may be useful” with 100% agreement was the main reason for image selection and the “uncertainty and going for the next image” with 33.33% was the main reason for rejecting an image.

Conclusion: Users select images based on their overall impression, mental experience and their knowledge. The relevance judgment by users is not related to their familiarity with web elements.
