The role of the Information products introduced by the librarians of the National library and Archives of the Islamic Republic of Iran on infopreneurship users

Abstract

Purpose: Investigation of the role of information products introduced by librarians of the National Library of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the users 'infopreneurship
Methodology: According to the Morgan table (with a confidence coefficient of 80%), out of 320 national library librarians, 94 people were selected by simple random sampling to complete a questionnaire, which finally completed 92 questionnaires. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data. Validity of the questionnaire by content validity showed that the experts in the qualitative method confirmed the content validity and in the quantitative section, the relative content validity coefficient for each of the questions was higher than 0.49.
 The content validity index for the questionnaire was also 0.92. The reliability of the test was also calculated on the basis of the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.97. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics of single variable t test were used.
Findings: According to the view of librarians, the role of components of information products on the users' information (61%), information products on launching information campaigns (62%), information and technology infrastructure on user information (64%), and infrastructure The technology is based on the establishment of information professions (66%), all of which indicates that the introduction of information products by librarians contributes significantly to the information of users (about 63%).
Conclusion: Considering the importance of libraries as a cultural-educational center in promoting the culture of entrepreneurship and information work, librarians should be trained to familiarize users with day-to-day technologies and work with information and how to use and provide information and products. Instruct them to create jobs and create an electronics business and ultimately lead to an independent income for library users.
