Purpose: The present study was conducted to identify the users' emotion induction in information retrieval.
Methodology: The methodology of the present study is Survey research, and the type of study is practical. The society comprised all MA students majoring in different humanistic science branches and studying at Imam Reza international university. The sample society of this research included 42 students that investigated in two groups. Data collection was carried out by using different instruments, such as, demographic and prior experience of using internet questionnaire, post search questionnaire, success / failure in information retrieval questionnaire, recorded files, positive and negative affect schedule (PANAS), the Geneva affective picture database (GAPED), Keyboard-Tracer and River Past Screen Recorder software.
Findings: The findings of the study demonstrated that in simple search task, the difference in the positive and negative emotion induction groups' performance was not significant, while in complicated search it was significant. In both simple and complicated search the difference was not significant. It was revealed that in complicated search task there was no significant difference between the types of users' emotions.
Results: The information retrieval systems can have a best function if manages user interactions and system interactions and have positive effectives.

Purpose: The Purpose of this study is to recognize librarian’s participation in software development from software producer’s companies’ point of view.
Method/Approach: This is an applied research and has done by descriptive method. The study population included 6 software producer companies. For data collection we used from researcher-made checklist based on literature review that will confirm its validity by experts.
Results: The findings of the study showed that librarians with skills of the web and internet (32/33) and hardware (6/83) accepted highest and lowest cooperation in software development. Also, librarians in acquisition department (recording section) with 4/33 and Donation Section with 2/33 average have highest and lowest range. On the other hand, the result showed that librarians in the steps of definition and design of software development with 4/83 and 1/5 average sequentially have high and low cooperation. Also in development of software solution organization-preparation and security specialists with 4/33 and 2/5 have effective role.
Originality/value: From point of software developer, librarians can be more effective in software development, so it’s needed more interaction.

Aim: This research is based on model of Knowledge translation Institute of Disability and Rehabilitation America to evaluate the knowledge translation in humanities Iran and experimental model.
Methodology: The study survey was conducted of all the members of the faculty of humanities at universities of Iran. Data in this study, the researcher made questionnaire with regard to disability and rehabilitation research, the US National Institutes of knowledge translation model was designed. For the analysis, data for this study were spss18 software and analytical analysis was prepared and output then, using structural equation modeling software Lisrel 8.8 Causal relationship between independent and dependent variables of this study was to determine the appropriate pattern.
Finding: The results of this study showed that standard models of knowledge translation components of the source, content, context, environment and users of research in the humanities Iran has the means and represents the implementation of the science of knowledge translation.
Results: Check intercept constant variables in the regression equation showed that independent variables as predictor variables in the regression variables can contribute and As a result of using structural equation modeling, experimental model for knowledge translation in the humanities Iran and the factors affecting it were presented.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to provide a conceptual model as a tool for Geographic Information Retrieval (GIR). Furthermore, the paper seeks to Identify and introduce current approaches on GIR, as well as, provides a lens to study GIR field.
Design/methodology/approach – Through a library-based study and a systematic literature review the conceptual model drawn from GIR literature.
Findings – Approaches on GIR could be divided into three categories, included, pattern-based models, ontology-based models, and machine learning models. The most of the GIR methods need for a gazetteer database or a geographic knowledge base to work properly. Although, interface and result ranking are crucial parts a GIR system that should be considered at the design step.
Originality/value – This paper is one of the first studies to seek a general review on GIR. Furthermore, the provided conceptual model is another value of this paper. As well as, the typology introduced by the paper assists researchers by providing a tool for systematic analysis of GIR.
Practical implications – Using the provided conceptual model, a GIR system – such as a search engine – could be designed.
