Khosravi Journal Article 2015 05 26 This research aims to evaluate bibliographic records available at the database of<br />manuscripts of the Khane-ye Ketab in terms of conformity with cataloguing rules<br />approved and used by National Library of Iran. This research is an applied one and<br />the methodology is an analytical survey in which a checklist has been used as a tool<br />for data collecting. The more cataloguers of manuscripts follow the cataloguing rules<br />the better will be the quality of manuscript cataloguing. The findings indicate that the<br />cataloguers do not care about the bibliographic elements such as place of compilation,<br />statement of responsibility and added entries. As there is no information for the<br />mentioned elements in each of the evaluated records.
