Purpose: Explain the theorization in Knowledge and Information Science by utiliezes of Lynham general methodology.
Method/ Approach: Theorization by Lynham general methodology examined by library research method and analytical kind.
Results: Lynham in my methodology are belives two aspect knowldege and experience in special field very important and focus theory. He belived that theorization is a cycle and dynamic system which is formulated in five stages of the conceptual development, operationalization, application, confimation or disconfirmation, and continious refinement and development. Functional disciplines, such as Knowldege and Information Science which most of their reaearch is an applied, no theory and theorizing. Initiative Lynham general methodology linked theoretical and practical aspects in this field.
Conclusion: According to issues in Knowldege and Information Science and also the ability of the Lynham general methodology, it seems that many of the patterns outlined in these fied to convert to the theory with this methodology and by use of five stages this methodology utilises in order to strengthen theorization in this field.

Purpose: To analyze the subject, approaches and research methods used in a sample of studies in the field of user tasks of FRBR conceptual model to provide an overview of studies in this area.
Methodology: 29 English research papers being published during 2001 to 2013 from credible international journals indexed in Scopous database were qualitatively analyzed using inductive approach.
Results: There is a schematic diversity in the field of user tasks of FRBR conceptual model. The most important topics explored in the studies were classified as: "challenges of cataloging in support of user tasks", "user evaluation and position in the conceptual model”, “improving user interface quality in public catalogs to support user tasks" and "current OPACs success in improving user tasks”.
Conclusion: User task FRBR researchers have not yet been successful in putting forward a clear result based on their research problems. One of the reasons can be due to the lack of understanding toward research problem which prevents them from taking FRBR conceptual model.

Purpose: To report research strategy development process for the National Library and Archives of Iran (NLAI) in order to cope with research challenges and problems and extend research activities for the years 2015 to 2020.
Methodology: This qualitative research adopted Bryson Model for strategic planning and used Delphi technique and interview to gather data needed for SWOT and PESTEL analysis.
Results: The research situation has been evaluated relatively good in terms of external opportunities and relatively weak in terms of internal environment. Internal and external research stakeholders provide research potentials to library which can be used to facilitate the establishment of extensive research cooperations and broaden the network of scientific communications in line with library goals. The research objectives in NLAI are supporting scientific research of line and staff operations, conforming the research to up-to-date knowledge, standards and technology and to contribute to national knowledge improvement in the relevant fields.
Conclusion: According to NLAI’s strategy plan, to develop "the national network of knowledge" and to become "the national hub of knowledge", it is necessary for research activities to cover all line and staff operations to strengthen internal cohesion and preserve the authority position, as well as get advantage of external opportunities to overcome internal weaknesses.

Purpose: To identify scientific and intellectual origins of information seeking behavior (ISB) field.
Methodology: Citation and co-citation analysis- common methods in Bibliometrics- were used.
Results: Early 1970s is the beginning of ISB research output. Intellectual structure of ISB has been shaped by two groups of resources: Main resources have formed theoretical framework of ISB and secondary resources have been considered for their methodology and also have proposed approaches in using information resources using main resources. So the secondary resources stand in second place of importance when regarding scientific and intellectual formation of the field.
Conclusion: The expansion and development of ISB is owed to library and information science and computer and information systems.

Purpose: In the last half century, the science literature has increased dramatically and caused some difficulties. Therefore, some quantitative techniques have been developed for improvement. Co-word analysis is one of these techniques in scientometrics.
Methodology: Review of literature.
Results: The structure, application, method and hypothesis of this method are reviewed and algorythms and techonologies of implementation also discussed.
Conclusion: Co-word analysis is used to detect science fields more accurately by discovering the co-occurrence frequency of words and phrases. It can also reveal hidden linkage between concepts and help in development of hierarchy in ontologies.
