Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the intellectual structure of global research in Library and Information Science based on the analysis of the views of Iranian experts.Methodology: In the present study, the semi-structured interview method was used to obtain the views of the Iranian specialized experts, and in order to evaluate the results of the interviews, a qualitative content analysis method was used with deductive approach. Considering the qualitative nature of the research, the use of purposeful sampling and snowball method ultimately led to the identification of 10 experts.Findings: The qualitative analysis of the results of the interview with the experts of Library and Information Science led to the identification of 8 main categories and 37 sub categories. The findings showed that the methodological and interdisciplinary nature of research in scientometrics has led to its superiority over the other subsectors of Library and Information Science in terms of number of documents and number of citations. Also, the results of the content analysis of the interviews indicated that the recent trends in Library and Information Science can be summarized as a general category of "information studies".Conclusion: The interdisciplinary nature of the study areas has a significant role in the amount of scientific publications and citations received by their researchers. The results showed that countries' awareness of the close relationship between scientific growth and economic development, comprehensive investment in promoting scientific status, the allocation of significant GDP contribution to research topics, and the comprehensive support of research projects in the form of grants Research is one of the most important factors influencing the intellectual structure of the field. According to the results of this study, the weakness of the theoretical bases and the native nature of study areas can affect their reliance on scientific papers; while areas with more powerful theoretical foundations are more likely to come into the book because of the retrospective nature of the book.

Purpose: investigating the impact of experience, gender and complexity of task on predicting the disorientation of graduate students at Shiraz University in browsing. Methodology: This is an applied research with comparative approach. In order to collect data related to the users’ disorientation, the participants’ transaction log files in interaction with the website were recorded using the Camtasia Screen Recording Software, version8. User’ Experience and gender were collected using questionnaire. The population included all undergraduate students in Shiraz University and the sample consisted of 100 voluntary undergraduate students. Findings: the complexity level of the task (simple or complex) alone has no significant effect on the level of users' disorientation. However, the interaction of the task complexity and the gender has a significant effect on users’ lost level; in both simple and complex tasks, the female users experienced disorientation more than males did. Moreover, with the increase in the complexity level of tasks, male users experienced more loss than female users. Moreover the interaction of the task complexity and the experience has no significant effect on users’ lost level. Finally the interaction of the task complexity, the experience and the gender has no significant impact on users’ lost level. Conclusion: Due to the limited understanding of the role of task complexity, gender and experience on disorientation of the users during web browsing, the results of the present study appeared to be useful in better understanding of the factors influencing the users’ disorientation in browsing process and thereby the need to consider them in users modeling and training.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the average willingness to pay for users for the services of central libraries and the factors affecting it and to estimate the monetary value of the entire library service for users.Methodology: Contingent valuation using, analytical survey with Hackman's two -step, and the stated priorities have been used. The statistical population of the research is the users of central libraries, including students, faculty members and employees of the universities under the supervision of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. Using a two stage cluster sampling method, 10 central university colleges were selected. The sample size was calculated using the Michel and Carson formula at the level of 10% of 854 people. The data gathering tool was a two-dimensional researcher-made questionnaire with 40questions. Statistical analyzes were used for data analysis such as descriptive statistics, linear regression, Logistic and Probit.Findings: The results of the first stage of the Heckman method (Probit pattern), Indicates the factors affecting the likelihood of paying users and the results of the second stage of this method (regression-linear model), Indicates the factors affecting the willingness to pay. Therefore, based on the variable of the income, if the other effective factors are constant, an increase of 1% in the income of respondents increases the probability of accepting the proposed amount by more than 70%. The total weight elasticity of independent research variables the culture of reading and reading, the environment and amenities, and librarians behavior, by proving other factors one percentage point increase in these variables is the acceptance of the willingness to pay users 301%, 665% , 84% , 129%.Conclusion: No significant difference was observed in the results of the two methods of logit and linear Probit. On the other hand, Hekman's two-step approach, although it can be distinguished among the factors affecting the acceptance of the willingness to pay as well as the factors affecting its degree, In total, the willingness to pay was less than the other two methods. The monetary value of the total of the services of central libraries was estimated at the rate of 113,789,072,125 (one hundred and seventeen billion seven hundred and eighty-nine million seventy two thousand and twenty five Rials).

Purpose: Determining the level of maturity, the level of readiness for knowledge management, as well as identifying areas requiring knowledge management initiatives in central and faculties' libraries of Razi University based on the knowledge management framework of the Asian Productivity Organization.Methodology: The research was conducted using a survey method. Data were collected using a questionnaire of Asian Productivity Organization. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated 0.9, based on the mean value of Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The members of the research community were 31 people and 94% answered the questionnaire. Data was analyzed using SPSS version 23 software. Pearson correlation, T-test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test were used to measure the mean of seven groups of criteria. Friedman's nonparametric test was used to rank the standard groups.Findings: The knowledge management situation in central libraries and Razi universities was ranked in seven groups below the knowledge management framework of the Asian Productivity Organization. The readiness of the library for accepting knowledge management at the start level was evaluated. The results of ranking groups showed that IT was at the highest level and leadership in KM was at the lowest level. The ranking of other groups of criteria from top to bottom was: knowledge processes, knowledge management results, learning and innovation, process, and individuals. Conclusion: It seems that the central library in the implementation of KM needs to identify areas that require knowledge management initiatives, identify strengths, and areas that need improvement. Also, in the form of a systematic program based on research suggestions, to reach the higher levels, i.e. comprehensive development of knowledge management, continuous refinement and evaluation of knowledge management programs, and maturity and knowledge management.

Purpose: By investigating the structural similarities between altmetric and citation indicators through factor analysis, the present study attempts to identify similar indicators and experimentally group them based on their impact dimensions.Methodolgoy: Applying a citation analysis method, it concentrates on a purposive sample consisted of papers published in PLoS journals during 2010-2012.Findings: The results of the factor analysis led to identification of a model consisted of 3 factors explaining 53 percent of the variance of the latent variable, i.e. “the impact of research outputs”. The experimental model seems to adhere to the theoretical model proposed by Junping & Houqiang (2015). According to the yielded model, the factors differ in terms of the kind, extent and depth of the impacts they explain. The first factor, called “impact at perception level”, implies the widest, though the most superficial, impact. The “perception level” can be considered as the “consumption” level that does not necessarily lead to “usage”. At another point of the impact continuum, there exists “impact at social media level” that is relatively higher in terms of the interaction between users and texts. The level is relatively more limited in terms of the quantity of users, but deeper in terms of the impact the related indicators may have. At the other extreme, one may find “the impact at usage level”, that is achieved after reading the texts, deeply interacting with and selecting them purposely. Conclusion: The finding indicates the power of altmetrics in measuring different types of impact with different extents and depths. It helps understanding the nature of the impacts the indicators may represent and thereby help recognizing the association between the indicators and overcoming their multiplicity and chaos.
